Student roster & NSFAS reconciliation
NSFAS only pays when a student's funding is confirmed and a signed lease is on the portal. Anything not ticked is blocked, not merely late.
| Student | Student no. | Institution | Room | Rent/mo | Funding confirmed | Lease on portal | Received YTD | Expected YTD | Outstanding | Status |
|---|
Expected = rent × months elapsed. Outstanding is what NSFAS (or the student) still owes you. Use this table as your remittance record when NSFAS sends none.
Standards used: DHET Policy on Minimum Norms and Standards for Student Housing; NSFAS Accommodation Provider portal (fees, documents, 5% licence fee). Kitchen ratios follow the 2026 NSFAS provider guidance summaries — confirm against the current NSFAS grading guideline before relying on them. This is a readiness aid, not a guarantee of accreditation.
